Welcome back to Kain Bang!

In collaboration with Nimbly Market, we are releasing a series of videos that feature their DIY Kits! These frozen meal kits come perfectly portioned with a simple, 3-step cooking method. It is impressive to bring these traditional and classic Filipino meals in one easy-to-make package. Defrost, follow the instructions, and serve with rice! Today, we are using the Bistek DIY kit and cooking it Jeongol style (Korean Hot Pot).

Bistek is a recipe derived from the words “beef steak” and is a classic Filipino dish made with thinly sliced beef braised in soy, citrus, pepper, garlic, and onions. It is a savory, hearty dish, with tangy, sour notes. And it is typically eaten with rice, of course!

*NOTE: Save some room for the second course!*

In this video, we’ll use the DIY kit and cook it Jeongol style!
