Receipe of jackfruit curry.
Raw jackfruit, potato cub, onion slice & paste, garlic, ginger paste, green chilli, cumin, coriander, turmeric powder, cardamon, cloves, cinnamon, sugar, bay leaves, salt, mustard oil, water, tomato, chicken masala, black pepper and cream.
1st step: Start with frying the cleaned, chopped jackfruit in mustard oil till it turns pale brown in color. After that transfer the fried jackfruit into a plate.
2nd step: After setting aside frying jackfruit, add some oil in the kadhai & add chopped onion. Fry onion till light brown in color.
3rd step: Next, add cloves, cardamon, cinnamon, bay leaves and green chilli. Fry it to 2 min after that add onion paste and garlic & again fry it to 3 min until it become light brown.
4th step: Next add ginger paste & fry it to 1 min. After that add potato, tomato and fry it some time.
5th step: Then add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, meat masala and salt into it.Fry the sabji & masala till oil separates. This usually takes 5 – 10 minutes over low heat.
6th step: Add the shallow-fried jackfruit in the kadhai, stir to combine so that jackfruit pieces are evenly coated with the spice mix. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 7 – 10 minutes, stirring occasionally in between and at that time add 1 pinch of sugar in it.
7th step: During this time the jackfruit pieces absorb the flavour of the spices. After that add some boil water and cook it until it become thick.
8th step: Add 1 tbsp cream on it and mix it properly. After that turn off the heat.
9th step: Serve the gravy jackfruit curry in a bowl & garnished with cream & coriander leaves.
10th step: Now ready the tasty, yummy, nutrition rich curry to eat.
